STARS awards recipients — Pictured with hospital leaders (starting third from left) Terri Nguyen, Daanish Memon, Isabella Imran RN BSN, Sonia Simpson, Karen Chandler Axelrod and Djeza Kore (not pictured) were recognized for their extraordinary compassion and teamwork in providing a much-needed bath for a patient with Degos disease after a year without one. Their dedication restored dignity and comfort in the most meaningful way. Special kudos to Sonia for initiating this “NIH spa treatment,” bringing not just care, but true relief and relaxation.
