We provide the best possible nutrition services and research support by preparing and delivering high quality food to inpatients and day hospital patients. Our room service program provides over 150 therapeutic and research diets and is used by most patients.

Clinical Nutrition Service

What we do

Staffed with 15 registered dietitians with a variety of backgrounds and interests, providing the best possible patient care and research support for patients. Our clinical research dietitians provide an array of patient-care services including nutritional assessments, diagnosis and counseling services and alternative (enteral and parenteral nutrition) feeding recommendations.

Supporting the NIH's Clinical Research Mission

Clinical Research Dietitians are available to consult with intramural investigators regarding the planning, design, and implementation of nutrition-related components of proposed research protocols.
